2017 Croze Cabernet Sauvignon follows the Croze philosophy of balance and elegance. Here is a wine with its roots deep in the cult wine growing area of Oakville, and its pedigree is long. This wine is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows its Oakville roots with beautiful aromas of cocoa, blackberry and toasted oak; full bodied with depth, moderate tannin and a long finish, this wine sings with chocolate, clove and anise. The grapes were harvested in October 2017 and following a slow fermentation the wine was racked to barrel using 1/3 new, 1/3 once filled and 1/3 twice filled French Oak barrels. The wine was racked twice in 2018 and 2019.

The second half of the fruit is grown in Lake County to add a gentle acidity and smooth structure. The wine is barrel aged in French Oak for 28 months prior to bottling to aid in the balance and smooth texture.
