The 2010 Croze Chardonnay is a clean, focused style which brings to mind baked apples in a savory homemade pie crust. There are cascades of brown spices and Honey Crisp apple. This is a standout Napa Chardonnay in a sea of the usual oaky, buttery style. This darling is all about the purity of the fruit and the subtleties of a confident wine. Gabrielle Shaffer – Sommelier Winemaker Gary Wooton pulled out all the stops on this showy 2008 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. The deep ruby color coats your glass and the aromas that arise are of classic dried current and supple cedar box. As it opens up we find layers of tart pomegranate juice and a faded memory of fresh milled fir tree. This is a mouth-drenching, tannic wine that craves a rich piece of meat or some time in your cellar. It's great for parties or everyday snacking. 8 oz. Cream Cheese (regular or whipped) 1/8 C. Blue Cheese (crumbled) 1/2 Tbsp.
